This duplex poster represents an exhibition title Light Show in the Auckland Art Gallery in New Zealand. The images below show how the advertisement works both as a static poster and a light installation.
This project started off with a printout of a scanned image gesture, then the text was laser-cut out. Yellow, green and red translucent plastic sheets were then taped to the back of the poster.
The installation requires the poster to hang from the ceiling, and with the help of a spotlight, soft text and patches of color will appear in the background.
